1. Data Collection
When using port of art we collect access data with no direct personal connection, as the name of the internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us, IP address(es) or the name of demanded files. The body responsible for your data is mentioned at the end of this policy.

If you transmit personal data to us (e.g. within the registration at port of art) we process, use and transmit these data subject to this policy and to the statutory provisions. Any certificates proving your capacity as an Artist sent to us will be kept in digital form by us for the term of the contract. The certificates will be irretrievably deleted with the deletion of you port of art account.

2. Use of Data
Unless provided otherwise for in this policy, your data will be collected, processed, used and transmitted to the extent necessary for the execution of the contract concluded between you and port of art. Without your consent, your personal data will not be transmitted to any third party, in particular not for advertising purposes.

3. Cookies
Furthermore cookies (small data files) will be placed on your computer to facilitate the navigation, by letting us retrieve the information contained in the cookies at a later point of time. You may prevent the storage of cookies on your computer by setting up your browser that it demands your consent before saving cookies and you may delete saved cookies at any time. Further information may be found in the manual of your browser. If you do not accept cookies some functions may not work properly.

4. Web analytic tool Piwik
Our website uses Piwik, a web analyses service. Piwik uses “Cookies”, this means text files that are stored on your computer and that provide us with the possibility to analyze your use of the website. The user information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) will be transmitted to our server and stored for user analyses purposes to this end, which serves our website optimization. Your IP address will be immediately anonymized in this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous for us. The information about your use of our website generated by the cookie will not be transmitted to third parties. You may block the use of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser. It may be that you cannot use all of our website’s functions in this case.
If you do not agree to the storage and analysis of data from your visit you may object to the storage and use with a mouse click at any time. In this case an opt-out cookie will be placed in your browser, with the effect that Piwik does not collect session data. Advice: If you entirely delete your cookies, this will have the effect that the opt-out cookie is deleted as well and, as the case may be, must be activated again.

5. Change and Deletion of Data, Revocation, Information
You may correct and delete your personal data in your user account as well as by a corresponding written notice (also by e-mail) to port of art, using the address below. The same applies to the revocation of your consent in the use of data. Mandatory information (e.g. pre- and surname) is necessary for the use of the port of art marketplace to safeguard our and the interests of other users. Their deletion or the revocation is only possible in connection with a deletion of the user account.
